My son who is 3 loves Thomas. So of course he wanted a thomas the train party. I bought Blue, red and Green Baloons and streamers(to represent the train colors) and decorated the rooms where the guests would sit. I used duct tape to make train tracks leading up to the house at the front doo I made a sign out of foam poster board that Sodor Station. I also used the foam poster board to make rail road crossing signs. and hung them next to the door ways. I had a chip and dip bar for snacks and I also had fruit dip with starwberries (Red), honeydew (Green), and blueberries (Blue), I also had red, green and blue jigglers in train shapes. I bought a cake from the bakery to save time but it was also a "thomas" themed cake. We plyed engine toss (Bozo bucket) Pin the whistle on thomas I made from a computer printout and had blown up at the local copy place and we had a train pinata. I also gave each child a "train ticket" I made on the computer out of business card program and they each ahd a number on it and we used that for a door prize and order to play game (Birthday boy was #1 of course).``In the goodie bags I had a personlized pencil that said my ______'s Birthday party 2005, a note pad, A train whistle, and a local train map that was free from the local train station. everyone had the best time!
